Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Daniel Kitzman has been singing since he could make sound. His love of music started early on and carried him to the University of Michigan, studying under legendary tenor George Shirley. Kitzman explored many interests at the University, including education and stage management, eventually leading to a teaching certification and Design & Production minor along with a bachelor's degree in performance.

 

Now looking ahead to a master's degree in performance, Kitzman is performing, teaching, and living in Ann Arbor, MI.
